Welcome to Idaho Gem Dachshunds

We are a small breeder of quality AKC Miniature Dachshunds located south of the beautiful lake city of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and minutes from the Spokane Valley. Since, we are a small breeder, we can concentrate on raising this amazing and intelligent breed. Our breeding stock have been selected for their longevity, personality and excellent genetics. We have many conformation Champions and Champion bloodlines that are the cornerstone of our breeding program.
All of our puppies are vet checked, de-wormed, dew claws removed and current on vaccinations. We currently have smooth's, longhairs and wirehair puppies available. One of the exciting parts of raising this incredible breed, is seeing all the coats colors and patterns. We can produce about any color / coat pattern that your dreaming about. Our dogs are a big part of our lives and they are all socialized with us, our children and of course with our other different family animals.
You are more than welcome to come and view the puppy of your choice by appointment, to meet our protocol before coming. Our protocol protects our dogs and puppies from any disease.
